The aim of the project is to integrate professional excellence into the water-management and environmental-protection sectors, thereby ensuring high-quality skills and competences, and to open up opportunities for quality work and careers that match an innovative, inclusive, sustainable economy and the goals of the Green Deal. The project’s activities and objectives relate to training specialists for the water-management and environmental-protection sector and improving the existing education system, enhancing cooperation between educational institutions, scientific institutions, industry enterprises and state authorities. A significant part of the project is dedicated to raising the prestige of vocational education — especially in the environmental-protection and water-management sector — and attracting potential students. These goals also correspond to the priority objectives and tasks set out in the Education Development Guidelines for 2021–2027 regarding the promotion of innovation and excellence in the cooperation of educational institutions of various levels and professional organisations, as well as in the context of support for STEM fields and green approaches.
